Easy Peasy Buttonholes!

Updated: Jul 18, 2022

I attended Market for the Quilting industry this past Spring in Kansas City. I was able to talk about and show our racks to many quilt shops. Another thing I get to do is to walk around and see all of the new products.

As I was walking around I found a small booth showing a new product by the name of Smart Marks - Buttonhole - Water Soluble Tape. I had a conversation with the owner, Luveta, and was impressed and interested. Luveta gave me a sample and I promised to put it to the test. This week I had a bit of time to play with the product. I was pleased with the results. I find myself making more clothes than I have in years and I have always had a difficulty making buttonholes. This made a big difference.

My goodness but this was quick!

There are two sets of tape in the package each having 18 buttonhole placements. One set for vertical and one for horizontal placement of buttonholes. If you are tackling a project with buttonholes they may be your answer to perfect spacing and sizing.

My family and I leave for Ireland this Sunday so I will be taking a few weeks off. We will be offering some new products that I am excited about that I will tell you about when I return.

For now, I give you my Irish goodbye.

Rita
